RAVE

I just saw the coolest movie. It's called The Journey. Check it out at www.thejourneyanimation.com. It was made by a group of people that I know. It's a 7 minute animated movie and it is so cool. The detail is amazing. I know it's short, and so is this rave, but check it out! You won't be disappointed.

I also just watched a documentary by Penelope Price called Artist Of Resistance. A documentary about an entire village being massacred in South America years ago, and an artist who is doing a series of works to remember the village, and the people. It's very moving, and beautifully shot. Yes, she did this doc in film. She blends different elements seamlessly in this movie. History, politics, and art. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I really dug it. I know it's out on the film festival circuit, if you get a chance to see it, go.

We need to support independent stuff like this. So get off your butts and go out!

Speaking of butts... I do watch television and I have a new television addiction besides The Daily Show. The Shield on FX. Now that's some good writing. You never have any idea who's good and who's bad. Lots of drama. And now that they've added Glenn Close as a police Captain, whoa! I am still afraid of her from Fatal Attraction!
