Angry Filmmaker Archives – Our stories so far…
I have been posting stories from the Angry Filmmaker Archives for the last 4 weeks. I put up one story a week. Here are the first four stories all in one place. Check them out and if you like what you see I encourage you to purchase a book or some merchandise from my website. This is how I support myself.
I’m sure a lot of you had no idea that I opened the T.A.M.I. show in 1964. It was amazing to be on the same bill with James Brown, The Supremes, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Chuck Berry and so many more. And to be introduced by Jan & Dean. Absolute heaven. Of course I was cut out of the final film, but hey, I’ll always have my memories. Here is that footage that no one ever saw. Support Independent Artists! Special thanks to Son-in-law Sam (Sam McDonald), Wayne Woods, and Gary Lacher.
Did I ever tell you about the time I did a reading in front of some real animals? We all have to pay our dues I suppose… Thanks to Wayne Woods and Son-in-law Sam. Support Independent Artists.
Who would have thought, me, on the Ed Sullivan Show. Well here is the footage for all you doubters. I’m guessing the date was sometime in 1956, which coincidentally was the year I was born. Go figure. Enjoy. Support Independent Artists.
This story is called Dennis Barton Is A Bastard from the book of the same name…
The first story from The Angry Filmmaker Archives. Did you know I did a reading at a Beatnik Cafe in San Francisco in 1962? Support Local Artists.
I hope you enjoy all the stories.
